See exactly what the Maul Peak + Expansion + Runes & Ruins bundle includes, what it costs, and who should buy it.
Quick answer
The Maul Peak + Expansion + Runes & Ruins bundle is a good pick if you want the full Maul Peak experience in one order, saving about $22.75 off the combined price.
What the bundle actually includes
This bundle brings together Maul Peak, the Maul Peak Ancient Relics Mini-Expansion, and Runes & Ruins in a single purchase. Maul Peak is a standalone, cross-compatible sequel to Skulk Hollow, so you don't need the earlier game to play it. The Ancient Relics Mini-Expansion adds new Guardians and the Grizzar, while Runes & Ruins layers on extra content for more variety.
If you already own Maul Peak or one of the expansions, this bundle may duplicate what you have. Check your shelf before ordering, because the savings only make sense when you're missing at least two of the three components.
How the price compares
The bundle lists at $42.24, compared to a catalog comparison price of $64.99 for the components separately. That's a meaningful discount if you were planning to buy all three anyway. But if you only want one piece, buying the bundle just for the savings isn't worth the extra cost.
Decision rules for buying this bundle
- Buy if you own none of these: If you don't have Maul Peak, Ancient Relics, or Runes & Ruins, this bundle is the most cost-effective way to get all three at once. Verify your collection first to avoid duplicates.
- Buy if you want the complete Maul Peak experience: The bundle gives you the base game plus both expansions, so you won't need to track down separate purchases later.
- Skip if you already own one component: If you have Maul Peak or either expansion, buying the bundle means paying for content you already own. Pick up just the missing piece instead. Compare the bundle price against buying the single missing item.
- Skip if you're unsure about the game: If you haven't played Skulk Hollow or aren't sure Maul Peak fits your group, start with the base game alone rather than committing to the full bundle. Try the base game first; you can add expansions later.
