Discover what comes in the Skulk Hollow + Expansion Bundle from Pencil First Games, including the base game and Ancient Relics mini-expansion, and learn if this two-player asymmetric battle is right for you.
Quick answer
The Skulk Hollow + Expansion Bundle includes the base Skulk Hollow game and the Ancient Relics mini-expansion, offering a complete two-player asymmetric battle experience at a bundled savings.
What the bundle adds beyond the base game
The Ancient Relics mini-expansion introduces new relic tokens that Guardians can collect during play. These relics grant one-time-use abilities, adding a layer of tactical depth without extending playtime beyond the standard 40 minutes.
If you already own the base Skulk Hollow, buying the bundle duplicates the core game. In that case, purchasing the Ancient Relics expansion separately may be more cost-effective. The bundle is designed for new buyers who want everything in one box.
Who this bundle is for
This bundle suits players who enjoy head-to-head asymmetric strategy games with a 40-minute playtime. The fox tribe versus Guardian dynamic offers distinct playstyles each game, and the mini-expansion adds variety without complexity.
It is less ideal for solo players or groups larger than two, as the game is strictly two-player. It also may not appeal to those who prefer cooperative or low-conflict games.
Decision rules for the Skulk Hollow + Expansion Bundle
- New to Skulk Hollow?: Buy the bundle. It gives you the base game plus the Ancient Relics mini-expansion at a bundled price, so you don't miss out on extra content later.
- Already own the base game?: Skip the bundle. Purchase the Ancient Relics mini-expansion separately to avoid duplicating the core game.
- Want to try before committing?: Start with the base Skulk Hollow alone. The game plays well without the expansion, and you can add Ancient Relics later if you enjoy the asymmetric dynamic. The bundle is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Product facts
- Skulk Hollow + Expansion Bundle: This bundle includes both the base Skulk Hollow game and the Ancient Relics mini-expansion. You get the complete two-player asymmetric battle experience in one purchase, saving compared to buying separately.
