The community garden expansion adds just enough variety without dragging out the 20-minute playtime, which is rare for a mini-expansion. Taught it to my parents over coffee and they were hooked by the second round.

Played this with six people and it still wrapped up in about twenty minutes, which honestly surprised me for a game that goes up to 100 players. The mini-expansion slots in without adding much rules overhead, and the garden art makes the fruit cards genuinely tempting to hoard.

I wasn't sure if the mini-expansion would feel tacked on, but the Community Garden adds just enough new fruit options to keep the base game fresh. The 20-minute rounds are perfect for a lunch break with my coworkers, and it holds up surprisingly well with six people around the table.
