The Ancient Relics expansion adds just enough new tricks to keep the two-player matches tense without dragging past 40 minutes. We've played it five times in a week, and the guardian-vs-hollow asymmetry still makes each side feel totally different.

The fox guardian fights feel so different from the lumbering colossi, and having Ancient Relics bundled in means I get the full asymmetrical experience right out of the box. My first game with my wife ran about 35 minutes, which was perfect for a weeknight.
